Rabbi Mordechai Kreitenberg

Camp Director

Rabbi Mordechai Kreitenberg is originally from Los Angeles, California. An alum of Mercaz Hatorah in Jerusalem.

After 5 years in Mercaz Rabbi Kreitenberg furthered his studies in the Mir Yeshiva, Jerusalem. 
 

He received Smicha from Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg Zt’l.

 

He currently resides in Passaic/Clifton, NJ with his wife, Tsaffie and their 10 children.
 

Rabbi Kreitenberg founded Heritage Retreats in 1999 and has been conducting Torah infused outdoor adventures ever since. 

R’ Eliyahu Greenberg
Head Counselor 

R’ Eliyahu is originally from Monsey and has been the Assistant Director of our Heritage Retreats Men’s Division for many years.

 

In addition, R’ Eliyahu is a MeorNYU Campus Rabbi and is very active in the Kiruv world
 

R’ Eliyahu has a strong passion for inspiring young with Torah and enjoys exploring the outdoors.

Counselors

Heritage Adventures has a high counselor to camper ratio ensuring each camper has engaging havrusa each morning, and that the environment is inclusive and the Ruach is unmatched.
 

Each staff member goes through a thorough interview and vetting process including one-one-one interviews. All counselors are carefully selected because they are B’nei Torah, responsible, fun, and outstanding role models.
